Milkyeyes looked over his pitiful stores of herbs in the back of his new den. The flood had destroyed everything he had built up and then he had been gone for three moons. Granted he had been able to bring back some supplies from the other mountains; there was enough overlap in the plants there that he had the basics. The albino medicine cat would just need to spend every available hour searching for herbs before fall started. The growing season got a late start with most of the sprouts destroyed in the flood, though things were coming back. On top of that he had lost his apprentice to EmberClan. Milkyeyes was happy his niece had been guided by StarClan, but he did miss having her around.
Then there was the fact that they had to establish a new camp, their old cave had been covered by a rockslide. This new one was set up in a canyon like structure, his den along with the nursery and elder's den were at the back. The warriors and apprentices were at the front, while the leader had a den a bit higher up that looked over the whole camp. It was a nice set up but it did let in more light than the old camp. So he spent most of the day in his larger den or in the shadows along the side walls. Milkyeyes would have to go out later at dusk to collect more herbs if he could find them.

Ashpelt let out a small hiss, flicking mud off her tail and quickly grooming it, nearly gagging from the grimey taste. "I hate mud." She grumbled under her breath, hoisting herself to her paws to try to find a less-damp place to sit. She padded away from the center of Stoneclan's new camp, where it was the wettest, to between the nursery and the Medicine den, where the ground was dry, almost dusty. The dens were all higher up, on top a small incline, so whenever it rained, all the water went straight down to the center of the camp. A shelf of rock formed an deep alcove- a perfect place for kits and their mothers to stay safe. A scrubby pine was nearby the den, deeply rooted in the rocky soil.
She'd moved into the nursery as soon they'd arrived at the new camp, and since then she'd managed to collect moss, brush, and even a few small tufts of wool to make the softest nest she could for her kits, even though she still had another moon to wait. It was hard to do much other than collect- she was awkward and off-balance when hunting, her belly already rounding. It was hard to sit back and just let others do all the work for her. The silver-pelted feline would much rather be hunting for the elders, rather than waiting for others to bring prey to her- sometimes even before the elders- a privilege that Ashpelt flat-out rejected. She always insisted she eat at the same time as the other warriors, even as her belly growled hungrily.
Her ear flicked as she heard shuffling in the medicine den- probably Milkyeyes- going over his meager herb stock yet again. She was slightly worried about the lack of herbs- what if one of her kits was born sick? How would anycat be able to help. She pinned her ears and squeezed her eyes shut, that just couldn't happen. She missed Puddlepaw. The younger she-cat always seemed to know what to do to cheer Ashpelt up- but she was off to Emberclan now, far, far away.

Amberpool would let out a hiss her joints ached from having to be exposed by water, she would carefully make her way towards the new camp. She would remeber the other elders she met in the other clans. It was lonely in the camp one of her best freinds had died in the flood, her kits were all grown up except for her poor son who never made it to a warrior status, her dagther Acornshade left her to join Emberclan. It hurt her but she was glad her one remaining kit and the apprentice she had chosen to train had decided to remain in the camp. She wanted to see them both but first thing she needed was to see Milkyeyes her joints would need treatment. She walked towards the temporary Medicine cat den her movement was very stiff, she just hoped he had the herbs in his den otherwise it was going to be a painful day for her. She waited outside of the medicine cat den her tail lashed the ground "Milkyeyes are you busy in there if not could you please look at my joints" Amberpool said respectfully to the medicine cat as she waited.
