All comments, questions, or concerns about the site can be posted here. This is mainly to keep things neat but also guarantee that staff are aware of the issue; some times general threads talking about the site might be over looked when considering room for improvement. I want to promote open discussion to help improve the site and create a community of roleplayers. Right now I will just be adding a few FAQs that will apply to the site before opening.
Q: When is rp going to be available?
Roleplay should be open by the end of the month as long as everything goes according to plan. At the latest roleplay will be opening is early August.
Q: How will character creation work?
Character creation will be done through joining threads, one for each clan. There are general rules for all characters to stick to and each clan leader will be provided with a basic form. However each clan leader can create their own requirements for their clan on top of the site standard.
Q: What are the Clans?
Right now only the fourth clan, EmberClan is having pages/information set up. The original three clans are still up in the air as I am working with several other people to come up with ideas.
Q: Who are staff members?
Administrator - VeraLynn - As the creator I am currently the only admin, depending on how the site goes this is open to change.
Moderators - tbd - These will be several of the other people I keep talking about. At the moment they are likely going to be the creators of the other three clans. In the future/the original mods step down there will be a process to select new ones involving the suggestions of general members. They have similar abilities as the Admin and when the admin is unreachable will maintain the site.
Clan Leaders - tbd - These are clan leaders who did not create their original clan, did not want to be a moderator, or have become leader after being deputy. Clan leaders are in charge of their clan only; Their main task are joining threads, monthly status updates, promoting roleplay in their clans, and monitoring for site violations in their clan.
Q: How can I become a leader or hold a clan staff position?
As of 7/17 no positions are being handed out. Once the original three clans are established with leaders selected it will be up to the leader on how to chose to fill out that clans remaining roles. Deputy, Medicine cat, and Medicine cat apprentice are roleplay only roles with no staff power. The leaders will be selecting deputies and medicine cats; medicine cats will be selecting their own apprentices.
